So I decided to download Kobo for my Blackberry

To be honest I'm not much of a reader, ok I’m not a reader, I’ve never been the type. So why did i get this application? Good question… I don't quite know myself, I’ve heard quite a bit about Kobo, and it looked pretty neat so i though i should at least have a look at it. I did, and kinda got hooked, They(Kobo) gave me a free book just for signing up during fathers month: How to be a gentleman.

I haven't been here for a while, and reckon it needs some updating…

We’ll life has been pretty interesting lately, the year has been going really good sofar, its been busy but that's great.

Fam Secure 911 (www.famsecure.co.za) is off the ground, but i haven't received the sort of response I've desired, but I'm sure things should pic up in the year.

I’ve also been working with the One Way Community Services Marketing team, and that has been really exciting. Its definitely worth having a look at what OWCS does and how you can get involved (www.owcs.co.za)

2011 a New Year, New Opportunities, New Challenges

What a year 2010 was, It was absolutely brilliant, The Main Highlight was South Africa Hosting the Soccer World Cup and the atmosphere in the country was amazing!

2010 was also a year for meeting new people, lots of them i call my close friends today, and i am very blessed to have met them.

2010 was also the year where for a couple months i was on top of the world, but that all came to a sudden an unforeseen end well at least on my side, but it has taught me ALOT, even though it was a painful experience i have learnt that there are really true people out there and others that just pose, and you have to watch out for the posers that will tell you everything you want to hear, lead you on and eventually dispose of you once you become redundant.

In 2011 i want to surround my self with true, honest people, who have a passion for life and the people around them.

2011 is the year for taking all that I've learnt in 2010 and applying it to life.

2011 is a year for fun, love, laughter and friendship.

2011 is also a year, for hard work and progress, and to knock at lots of doors and see which ones open.

2011 is a year to keep ones heart open, and not to let the miss trust of the past year hamper future prospects.

2011 is a year to live a life of chivalry, keeping to your word, living with honour and always keeping your head held high even in adversity.

2011 is a year, to do what you need to get done and not leave it till the next year.

2011 is going to be a great year!!

Enjoy it and always remember to have fun and make memories, we only have one shot at life so make the most of it!

Forming an you own Opinion–Pretty important if you want to be someone.

Now I've been brought up with the concept of being my own man right from the early start of my life, not having to conform to the “ways” of the masses and sticking out as an individual.

This is pretty hard with the constant trends and social expectancies created to help put people into social groups and keep them there.

Remember the guys on the Top don't want you to be at the Top, so they’d rather have you conforming to the mass ways of life, 8-5 days, blowing your budget by the 15th of a month so they can offer you credit and before you know it, they’ve got you Smile.

Now unfortunately we need people to fill that place, that's just how the world works and its been working that way since God put Adam and Eve in the garden to tend the land and mind the animals.

So the world needs workers, the guys on the ground building the infrastructure of industry, and commerce. BUT that doesn't mean you have to be like that too, if you’re reading this i guarantee you have a pretty good level of savvy.

What am i basically trying to say Be Your Own Person, form your Own opinions, try your best not to get caught up in the world and ultimately strive for excellence. God created us with the intention to do so much, and only wants the best for us, so lets make something of ourselves, strive for the best we can, obstacles are there for us to overcome and anything is Possible!!

Commit your ideas, dreams, and ambitions to God, and you’ll go far.

BUT, and a very crucial BUT, Remember nothing will work if you don't go out there and do IT! One thing dreaming up good ideas, another thing doing them. Smile

Anyway that’s my opinion.

Please share yours and make sure its yours and not a families, friends, or groups opinions, we are individuals and need to have our own.

I really miss Tel-Aviv

5 Success Secrets From The 2nd Richest Man In History Andrew Carnegie

This is an Amazing extract from: young entrepreneur.com

This is the sort of advice i need at the moment, battling with social issues, and trying to get a business off the ground…

1. Keep a Positive Attitude

“A sunny disposition is worth more than fortune. Young people should know that it can be cultivated; that the mind like the body can be moved from the shade into sunshine. There is little success where there is little laughter. Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. A whole, clear, glorious life lies before you. Achieve! Achieve!”

2. Believe In Yourself

“People who are unable to motivate themselves must be content with mediocrity, no matter how impressive their other talents. Immense power is acquired by assuring yourself in your secret reveries that you were born to control affairs. Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. A whole, clear, glorious life lies before you. Achieve! Achieve!”

3. Never Compromise

“The ‘morality of compromise’ sounds contradictory. Compromise is usually a sign of weakness, or an admission of defeat. Strong men don’t compromise, it is said, and principles should never be compromised.”

4. Be First

“The first man gets the oyster, the second man gets the shell. Aim for the highest.”

5. Be The Best

And here is the prime condition of success, the great secret: concentrate your energy, thought, and capital exclusively upon the business in which you are engaged. Having begun in one line, resolve to fight it out on that line, to lead in it; adopt every improvement, have the best machinery, and know the most about it. Success can be attained in any branch of human labor. There is always room at the top in every pursuit. Concentrate your energies, your thoughts and your capital…. The wise man puts all his eggs in one basket and watches the basket.”
